Less than zero.
I listen to a lot of podcasts. A lot of true crime. As of late, science, medicine. Last week, I caught a new episode of ‘Medical Mysteries.’ I completely diagnosed the patient in less than a minute cause IYKYK. Patient: 16 yr female, this case is from late 70s, high temp, in and out of shock, nausea/vomiting. At this time, little was known about this sickness but in this era or my era, probably could be figured out quickly by a GYN. I screamed at the speaker,” TOXIC SHOCK SYNDROME!” I must’ve read those boxes inside and out when I begin menstruating in the 1900s. 😂 Tampon boxes still print the warning on products but TSS is rare now. Makers have drastically reduced high absorbency.
