I fell in love through a film. I never thought visiting Martinique would ever be a reality. As I count down to my vacation, its emotional. I'm emotional.
Sitting in one on my intro Psych courses watching 'Sugar Cane Alley', I would have never thought that going anywhere and doing anything was a possibility. A girl from Newport News which most people never left...wow, I could actually do things. Anything.
It was not until the end of my college experience at HU (in the 90s), I knew the possibilities were endless.
And now in 2017, I've finally begin to live as such. Not sure, what took so long. Probably "life."
